I'm Aaraf Adam, a Sudanese- American Muslim creator & filmmaker.
I produce narrative art with intention and heart. I focus on collaborating with Black artists and storytellers with the aim of uplifting continental and diasporic Black women with emblematic experiences, particularly those in underrepresented communities such as Black Muslim women.
Everything you see on my page is a glimpse into my creative mind. I've directed and produced everything you see here.
I unravel what it means to wonder but to be lost, and to ultimately find one's self through self-expression and contentment.
I'm a mere seed and glimpse into the search and power of identity. This is merely my beginning. The beginning of my story. The beginning of representation and space to amplify others.

"Most of the time when writing, I write to myself to promote a narrative I should be living by. To share that motivation and power to help others find their voice, especially Black Muslim Women"- Aaraf Adam
